Open a Block (Tag Editing)

To open a block, locate it's tag icon, and double click it.

You may double click either the opening or the closing tag icon indifferently. Remeber that for self enclosed blocks, there will only be one tag icon.

An image may sometimes actually be placed on the screen seemingly "far away" from it's tag icon. To locate the relative tag icon, pass your cursor over the image and sWord will highlite the it's icon for you.

You will know the block has been opened when sWord opens the Satellite Window to the relevant page:

The following blocks may not be editied:

  • Anchor Blocks
  • Line Break Blocks

There is only one Tag Editing screen for these last blocks, which will only allow you to remove the block - not edit it.

If you choose to remove the block, click the remove button. sWord will park the Satellite Window and refresh your main browser window.

If, at any point before pressing the remove button, you decide not to remove the block, simply use the Satellite Window's close button. sWord will park the Satellite Window and no changes will be made to the document.

Note: this is the equivalent of choosing Edit > Remove from the Menu Bar.
